Fate:
Splendid was one of the more successful boats sinking the destroyer Aviere and some 30,000 tons of shipping.
15/16th January 1943 sank by torpedo the Emma of 7931 tons.
Depth charged by the German destroyer Hermes off Corsica on the 21st April 1943 and scuttled by the crew.
30 survivors were taken prisoner.
