Fate:
Supported the British surface fleet at the 'Battle of Helgoland'.

Lt. Cdr. Jameson was washed overboard and drowned on November 23rd 1914.  He was replaced by Lt. Cdr. Head the following day.

D2 sailed Harwich the same day as Head's appointment and was never heard of again.

Sunk by German patrol craft off Wester Ems, 25th November 1914.
